‘Fragment ’ represents three of thirty-two radial modules of a suspended light object measuring 188cm in diameter. While conceived as part of a larger installation, the fragment functions as an autonomous object, revealing the structural logic, modular construction and material qualities of the complete system.
‘Fragment ’ presented as part of Vienna Design Week 2026, is a project by ‘Scryns’, a Viennese design label founded by architect Max Unterfrauner. ‘Scryns’ transforms reclaimed displays into design-led lighting objects and lighting solutions, thereby opening up entirely new possibilities for light and space.
The brand’s official launch is scheduled for summer 2027.
